Description
"Of all the souls I've encountered in my travels, his was the most...human"
Rest in peace Leonard Nimoy (1931-2015)
This image was made in SAI. This picture was my attempt to honor Nimoy's life through what I believe to be one of his best scenes in his career. This scene depicted above takes place in Star Trek 2 The Wrath of Khan, when Spock is dying and he and Kirk share their final moments together.
Even to this day I still tear up a little.
Thank you Leonard Nimoy for all your achievements, you will be greatly missed.

What gets me about that line that Admiral Kirk makes at Captain Spock's funeral about Spock being the Most Human is that he is insulting Spock at his funeral. I say this because Spock never wanted to be considered human in Star Trek The original Series or in the films. Captain Kirk even insults Spock in Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country just prior to the final battle sequence when he says We are all Human. I think that is kind of funny.
